Custom Boat Stickers and Decals — High-Tack Vinyl, Heavy-Duty Laminate, Up to 48" × 96", Made in Toronto
A boat name across the transom. A charter's logo on the hull. A dealer's mark on every boat on the lot, or a 3" badge on a kayak. Whatever goes on a boat has to stay on through spray, rain, sun, dock rub and a full season in the water, which is why this page exists apart from our other stickers. We print custom boat stickers at our shop in North York, Toronto on vinyl with a high-tack adhesive, seal the print under the heaviest laminate we use, and cut each one to your artwork's outline, from 1" × 1" up to 48" × 96" in a single piece. Rated for 3 years in any weather and any water.
What you're getting
Printed vinyl, made for the outside of the boat. Two things separate it from our die cut stickers. The adhesive is high-tack: it's built to grab and hold, not to peel off next spring. And the laminate is the one listed as Slip Resistant in the calculator — it's the only finish on this page, on purpose, because it's the toughest one we stock and this is the product that needs it. The ink sits under that laminate, so it isn't rubbing against fenders and dock lines; the laminate is.
Built to stay on
Be clear about what you're ordering. A boat sticker is a stay-put sticker. It doesn't come off gelcoat cleanly, and that's the point of the adhesive — it's the same reason it stays on through three seasons of water. If you want a graphic you'll swap out next year, order our vinyl decals instead: same print, same cut, a standard adhesive that peels clean. Order boat stickers for the name, the logo and the number that aren't going anywhere.
Sizes and price
Presets at 24" × 24", 36" × 36" and 48" × 48". For anything else, choose Custom Size and enter the width and height — the calculator takes any size from 1" × 1" up to 48" wide by 96" long, so a boat name that runs eight feet along the hull is one piece, not two. It prices your size before you upload a file. Cut to the artwork's outline, rounded corners, oval/round, or rectangle/square. One is the default quantity; a single sticker is a normal order here. Live prices as of September 30, 2026, before tax:
- 6" × 6": one for $25.00 · 12" × 12": one for $35.00
- 24" × 24": one for $84.20 · 25 for $1,411.00 · 24" × 48": one for $151.80
- 36" × 36": one for $168.90 · 25 for $2,823.00
- 48" × 48": one for $282.20 · 25 for $4,695.00
Free shipping on orders over $100 to Canada and the US (US tariffs, if any, are charged on delivery), or pick up in North York. Large pieces ship rolled, print side in.
Four designs, one order
Upload up to 4 artwork files in a single order and split the quantity between them any way you like. Mixed sizes are fine; the order is priced at the largest size in the batch. A name for the transom, a logo for each side and a small mark for the bow can go in as one order.
What customers say
There are no reviews on this page yet — these are from our vinyl sticker pages, printed on the same vinyl.
“This is such a great product for water bottles because they are waterproof and will not fade or tear. I've ordered from other companies before and the vinyl was paper-thin.” — JC, May 2025
“I ordered 250 stickers on glossy vinyl, and I'm so happy with how they turned out. The artwork is sharp, the colours are vibrant, and the vinyl is high quality.” — Vena C., September 2024
Across the store it's more than 3,000 reviews averaging 4.9 stars; the full list is on our reviews page.
Putting it on
For a small or medium piece, do it yourself. Wash the spot, let it dry completely, and decide exactly where the sticker goes before it touches the surface — a high-tack adhesive grabs on contact and doesn't give you a second try. Peel from one edge and press it on from that edge outward with a card so you don't trap air. For the large sizes we recommend a professional installer; a 48" graphic on a curved hull is a two-person job with the right tools, and an installer will have them.
The mistake we see most
Small writing, and small stickers on big boats. A boat is read from the dock or from the next slip, not from arm's length, and a name that looks big on a screen turns into a smudge at that distance. Measure the space on the hull, then order the sticker to fill it, and set any text far larger than you think you need. If the proof looks small, tell us and we'll resize it at no charge.
Who orders them
Boat owners putting the name on the transom. Marinas and fishing charters marking the boats they run. Dealers putting their logo on the boats they sell. Kayak and canoe owners who want a 3" badge that survives being dragged up a beach. If it floats, someone has ordered a sticker for it.
Licence numbers
Yes, we print them — upload the number as artwork and we cut it to shape. Transport Canada requires a pleasure craft licence number on each side of the bow, above the waterline, in block characters at least 7.5 cm (3") tall, in a colour that contrasts with the hull. That's the minimum; we'd go bigger, because 3" reads from the dock but not from across the bay.
Ordering
Upload a PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or PSD — vector files are best for names, logos and numbers, and at boat sizes they matter; a photo or raster file has to be large enough to print sharp at the final size, and we'll tell you at proofing if it isn't. Enter your size, quantity and cut, and check out. You get a digital proof, usually within 24 hours, showing the exact cut line; if something's off, we revise it at no charge. Approve it and production takes 1–3 business days, then the sticker ships or is ready for pickup.
Questions we get
Are boat stickers waterproof? Yes. Any weather, any water, salt included — rated for 3 years.
Will it come off? Not cleanly, and not on its own. It's a high-tack adhesive made to stay on the boat. For something you'll remove, order vinyl decals.
Why is Slip Resistant the only finish? Because it's the toughest laminate we use and this product needs it. It's there for durability, not looks.
What's the smallest and largest size? 1" × 1" up to 48" × 96" in one piece. Choose Custom Size for anything that isn't a preset.
Can I order just one? Yes. One is the default quantity on this page.
Do they work on a kayak or canoe? Yes. Order a small size and put it on a clean, dry, smooth part of the hull.
Do you make marine labels for equipment? Same sticker. Enter the size you need.
Do you ship to the United States? Yes — free shipping on orders over $100. Any US tariffs are charged on delivery and are the buyer's responsibility.
