A hot sauce label gets sauce on it. It gets wiped, rinsed, left on the table at a market in the rain and run through a dishwasher by someone who forgot to take it off, and it still has to look like a product somebody would pay for. Ours are our roll labels, made for sauce: waterproof, freezer-grade BOPP film with a gloss or matte laminate, printed in full colour at our shop in North York, Toronto, cut to any shape, and supplied on rolls. Any size, for whatever bottle you fill.

What you're getting

BOPP is a plastic film, not paper. It doesn't absorb water, so a drip of sauce wipes off, a wet counter doesn't lift it, and the print doesn't blur. It's rated for the fridge, the freezer and the dishwasher. The print sits under a laminate: gloss for brighter colour, matte for no glare — and hot sauce makers tend to like matte. Same material, same price. Every label comes on a roll on a 3" core, so it loads into a hand dispenser or an applicator and peels one after the other for a bottling run.

Sizes for sauce bottles

There's no favourite size, because there's no one bottle: a 5 oz woozy, a 10 oz, a jar, a squeeze bottle. Presets at 2" × 2", 3" × 3" and 4" × 4"; Custom Size takes anything from 1" × 1" up to 7.5" × 12", which covers a front label, a back label with the ingredients, or a full wrap. Choose the cut: your artwork's outline, rounded corners, oval/round, or rectangle/square. If you're not sure what fits, put the bottle size in the order notes and we'll check the fit at proofing.

Custom sizes are priced live in the calculator before you upload anything. Smaller runs are fine — choose Custom Quantity and enter the number you need. Free shipping on orders over $100 to Canada and the US (US tariffs, if any, are charged on delivery), or pick up in North York.

Four designs, one order

Upload up to 4 artwork files in a single order and split the quantity between them any way you like. Mixed sizes are fine; the order is priced at the largest size in the batch. Mild, medium, hot and the back label with the ingredients go in as one order at one price tier instead of four.

Ordering

Upload a PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or PSD — vector files are best for logos and text; a 300 DPI PNG works for most. Pick a size, quantity, cut and finish, and check out. You get a digital proof, usually within 24 hours, showing the exact cut line; if something's off, we revise it at no charge. Approve it and production takes 1–3 business days, then the rolls ship or are ready for pickup.

Questions we get

Are hot sauce labels waterproof? Yes. BOPP film under a laminate — rated for the fridge, the freezer and the dishwasher. Sauce wipes off.

Do they come on rolls or sheets? Rolls, on a 3" core, like all our roll labels.

What size fits a woozy bottle? It depends on how much of the bottle you want covered. Enter your size, or put the bottle in the order notes and we'll check the fit at proofing.

Gloss or matte? Both. Hot sauce makers tend to go matte; gloss makes colours brighter. Same price.

Can I put the ingredients on a second label in the same order? Yes. Up to 4 designs per order, priced at the largest size.

Do you ship to the United States? Yes — free shipping on orders over $100. Any US tariffs are charged on delivery and are the buyer's responsibility.
