A water bottle label lives in the worst place a label can live: on a cold, sweating bottle that gets carried around all day. So we print water bottle labels on the same waterproof, freezer-grade BOPP film we use for every roll label, laminate them in gloss or matte, and supply them on a 3" core roll so a case of bottles goes quickly. Printed and cut at our shop in North York, Toronto, for birthdays, weddings and corporate events across Canada and the US.

What the label is made of

BOPP is a plastic film that doesn't absorb water, printed in full colour and sealed under a laminate. Gloss makes the colours brighter and suits a logo or a photo; matte has no glare and suits a script name and a date. Either way the label is waterproof and freezer grade: condensation, an ice bucket or a cooler full of ice doesn't lift it or blur the print, and it still reads when the bottle is handed out at the end of the day.

Sizes, shapes and price

There's no standard water bottle label size, because there's no standard bottle. Presets at 2" × 2", 3" × 3" and 4" × 4" for a front label, or enter your own size — anything up to 7.5" × 12" — for a wider label that wraps around. The easiest way to size it: peel the bottle's own label off one bottle, measure it, and order that size for the same coverage. Cut to your artwork's outline, rounded corners, oval/round, or rectangle/square. Price is by size and quantity and falls with volume: at 2" × 2", 50 labels are $60.19, 100 are $73.47, 250 are $91.25, 500 are $111.94 and 1,000 are $191.11 (about 19¢ each); at 3" × 3", 1,000 are $320.63; at 4" × 4", 1,000 are $452.22 — live prices as of September 20, 2026, before tax. There is no minimum and no maximum: choose Custom Quantity and enter the number of bottles. Applying the label

Bottled water arrives with the brand's own label on it. Peel that off, make sure the spot is dry, then peel your label from the roll and press it on from one edge to the other so it doesn't trap air. A hundred bottles takes an evening in front of the TV; the rolls also fit a hand dispenser if you have one.

Reusable bottles and tumblers

These labels are made for bottled water at an event. If what you want is a sticker for a reusable bottle or a tumbler — something that gets washed and handled every day for months — order die cut stickers instead: vinyl with a scratch-resistant laminate, cut to your shape and supplied as singles. Who orders these

Events, mostly. Birthday parties with the name and age on every bottle. Weddings with the couple's names and the date, set out on the tables or handed round at the ceremony. Corporate events, conferences and open houses where the water on the table carries the company logo instead of a supermarket brand. Anywhere a table of bottles is part of the day, the label is the cheapest branded thing on it.

Four designs, one order

Upload up to 4 different artwork files in a single order and split the quantity between them any way you like — 100 bottles with one name and 100 with the other, or four sponsor logos across a conference — priced at the largest size in the batch. One order instead of four, and one proof to approve.

Ordering

Send finished artwork — PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG or PSD; a 300 DPI PNG at the finished size works for most people, vector is best for text. Keep names and dates at 7 pt or larger so they read on a curved bottle, and put the bottle size in the order notes if you're unsure of the fit. You get a digital proof, usually within 24 hours, showing the cut line; approve it and production takes 1–3 business days. Shipping is then 3–5 business days to Ontario and Quebec, 5–7 to the rest of Canada, and 3–5 business days to the US.

Questions we get

Will the label survive a cooler or an ice bucket? Yes. Waterproof BOPP with a laminate over the print, and freezer grade, so ice and meltwater don't lift it.

What size should a water bottle label be? Whatever the bottle's own label is, if you want the same coverage — peel one off and measure it. For a front label only, 2" × 2", 3" × 3" or 4" × 4" cover most bottles. Not sure? Put the bottle size in the order notes and we'll flag a fit problem on the proof.

Do you supply the bottles or remove the original labels? No. We print the labels; you buy the water and swap the labels yourself.

Is there a minimum or maximum order? Neither. Choose Custom Quantity and enter the number you need, whether that's 24 or 5,000.

Can I mix designs in one order? Yes — up to 4 designs, split any way you like, priced at the largest size.
